What Is DTG Printing?
Direct-to-garment printing uses advanced inkjet technology to spray water-based pigments directly onto the fabric. This method produces a soft, breathable print that holds fine detail, gradients, and sharp text, even after repeated washing.
DTG is well-suited for cotton and cotton-blend apparel, offering a retail-quality finish without the limitations of traditional methods. The streamlined process supports rapid design changes and eliminates the need for screens, making it ideal for both prototyping and short-run fulfillment.
Request a Free QuoteDTG printing eliminates the need for screens or setup time, allowing you to print one-offs, personalized items, or limited drops with ease. It is ideal for short runs, frequent design changes, or adding player names to teamwear.
Standard production at Sphere Sport is just two weeks with global air freight delivery averaging three to five days. This fast turnaround gives your brand the flexibility to stay agile without holding excess inventory or sacrificing quality.

Advantages of DTG Printing

03
DTG Printing vs Screen Printing
While screen printing is efficient for high-volume orders with fixed designs, DTG printing offers greater flexibility for low-volume or customized apparel. There are no color limitations or screen setup fees, making it cost-effective for multicolor or short-run designs.
DTG excels at detailed artwork and frequent design changes without adding complexity or cost. If your brand needs faster launch cycles, smaller batches, or more design variety, DTG is the preferred solution.

Still Have Questions? We’re Here to Help
Can I get a sample with my artwork before a full order?
Yes. We can print and ship a sample in 1–2 weeks so you can check color, hand-feel, and fit before committing.
What fabrics work best for DTG printing?
100 % cotton gives the richest color, but our pre-treatment lets us print on cotton-poly blends and most light-colored performance knits, too.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) and lead time for DTG printing?
MOQ is 30 pieces per design. Standard production is two weeks plus 3–5 days for air freight.
How durable are DTG prints?
When washed inside-out on cold, prints stay vibrant for 100+ washes without cracking or peeling. The ink bonds inside the fibers rather than sitting on top.
Can I add custom labels, tags, or packaging?
Absolutely. We offer woven neck labels, heat-press tags, hang tags, and branded packaging so every detail matches your brand
