What Is Digital Embroidery?

01

What Is Digital Embroidery?

Digital embroidery begins with “digitizing” your artwork. Our technicians convert every line, curve, and letter into needle paths the machine can read. Sixteen-head commercial units then drive needles at up to 1,200 stitches per minute, sewing vivid thread straight through the fabric. Because the thread itself carries the color, the designs sink into the garment instead of sitting on top. The result is a textured logo that resists peeling, cracking, and fading for years. Best of all, embroidery works on almost any dyed fabric, cotton tees, polyester jerseys, performance blends, caps, bags, and more, so you can use one method across your entire range.

Digital embroidery offers standout durability by locking each stitch deep into the fabric, letting designs shrug off sweat, abrasion, and more than fifty wash cycles, far better than most ink prints. The raised thread adds a genuine 3-D texture that catches eyes on both shelves and sidelines. With over a thousand in-house thread colors and full Pantone matching, you can nail brand accuracy every time. Plus, the screen-free process keeps setup costs low, so orders can start at just thirty pieces yet scale smoothly to thousands. All this comes with OEKO-TEX-certified polyester or lyocell threads for a greener finish.

Advantages of Digital Embroidery

Digital Embroidery vs Screen Printing & DTF

03

Digital Embroidery vs Screen Printing & DTF

Screen printing is great for huge, flat artwork, while DTF shines with photo-real color layers. Embroidery, however, wins on durability and perceived value: stitched logos look high-end and outlast rough play, making them ideal for crests, numbers, and sponsor marks. For balanced cost and creativity, many brands combine embroidery for key logos with sublimation, DTF, or screen printing for large background graphics.
